Shardy Sannon
Shardy Sanon is entering his first season with the Weston Select Elite training program.
Coach Shardy began his coaching career at the collegiate level in 2015 with NAIA’s St. Thomas University men’s soccer program in Miami Gardens, FL (2016–2018). There, he served as an assistant volunteer coach under Feliks Matts. Coach Shardy would then go on to become the full-time assistant coach for the women’s soccer team under Michelle Smith (2021–2023).
As a player, Coach Shardy competed in all four collegiate years at St. Thomas University. During that time, he achieved multiple Sun Conference regular season championships, as well as one NAIA Sun Conference playoff championship, while playing for head coach Felix Matts. Over his four years, Shardy received the “3.0 Club Student-Athlete Award,” and in his senior year received the Leadership Award from St. Thomas University’s athletics department, both highly prestigious honors.
Coach Shardy holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma and is currently working toward his USSF C License. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Juris Doctor in law, with certification in business law, from St. Thomas University’s School of Law.
