Alex Sanchez
Alex Sanchez is a lifelong soccer professional, coach, and mentor with a passion for developing players on and off the field.
Alex's family's origin is Ecuadorian. Born and raised in Miami, Alex played at Killian High School, helping lead the team to a Florida State Championship in 1988. He went on to earn a scholarship to North Carolina State University, where he was part of the 1990 NCAA Final Four team, graduating in 1992 with a B.A. in Communication. He later played professionally for the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers and Dallas Sidekicks, as well as internationally in Ecuador with Club Sport Emelec, and was a member of the U.S. Under-23 National Team pool (1990–1992).
Alex holds the prestigious USSF “A” License (since 2009), the National Diploma from the NSCAA, and is a member of the National Youth Soccer Coaches Association (NYSCA). His coaching philosophy focuses on building strong technical foundations, confidence, and teamwork in a positive, competitive environment.
In addition to coaching, Alex has been a Mortgage Loan Advisor for the past seven years, helping individuals and families navigate important financial decisions with clarity and trust. Whether on the field or in business, Alex is committed to guiding others toward long-term success.
