Curtis Leeper

Coach Curtis grew up in south Florida and was exposed to soccer at a very young age. Many mentors had a huge impact on his life. Therefore, he is hoping to have the same impact on him. He recently retired and was given the opportunity to get involved in coaching young athletes again. Here are some of the skills and experiences that he is hoping to use to assist in his training of young soccer players.

• Captain of the USA Olympic Soccer Team (1979)

• Men’s USA National team (1978 - 1980)

• Played for 8 years in USA soccer professional leagues (NASL, MISL, ASL)

• NIKE Inc. 21 years. During that time was responsible for the NIKE Soccer business. 150 million in revenue

• VP of Sales at Under Armour and Delta Apparel for a combined 17 years

• Head Coach of Westside Rangers in Portland Oregon. U-12 and U-13 boys

• Head Coach of Weston Warriors. U-14 and U-15 boys

Coach Curtis hopes to use the above stated skills learned to help teach young soccer athletes. To teach the skills, tactics and leadership that are directly related to real life experiences. It’s his time to give back!
