David Gomez

Coach David Gómez is a highly experienced and driven coach with over 20 years of experience in the rules and foundations of the game. He has a Bachelor's degree in Sports Journalism and more than 8 years of experience as a social communicator, making him an innate leader committed to player development. Coach David has five years of experience as a college player and two more years as a semi-professional player in South Florida. He has worked with children for more than 12 years, as recreation and birthday party director.

Currently, Coach David is a producer at W Radio International and he works as a journalist. 

In March 2020, Coach David started La Zona Sports & Technology, his own business, where he developed a software system capable of measuring the technical ability of soccer players in real-time. He created experiences to enhance players' mental and technical skills and designed technologies to achieve access to the flow state and perform better in training scenarios. He powered a Pre-Season Program for soccer players.

Coach David's player career includes playing as a striker for Miami Beach CF (Semi-Professional) and LFB Nationals - Independiente Santa Fe (Minor League). He was a champion of the Viña Cup 2013 (International Tournament, Viña del Mar, Chile). Coach David has a US Coaching License - Grassroots, completed Grassroots Courses, and is actively doing License D. 

Coach David has a Certificate in Sports Marketing and he focuses on fundamentals and mental skills to improve the experience for players' development. He uses problem-solving and critical thinking to address self-sufficiency and decision-making, both on and off the field.

In summary, Coach David is a skilled coach with an extensive background in sports, communication, and leadership. He is fluent in English, speaks some Portuguese and a native speaker of Spanish.
